The original offer I believe was based on the assumption that the consortium would be responsible for paying the CVA

And it is explicitly stated in the consortium Q&A/manifesto on the Trust website that we would pay the CVA.

As opposed to, for example, slagging off the bloke we'd need to negotiate with at the second largest creditor and who will also have a major say in any ground redevelopment. Customers, creditors, is there anyone in this CVA they haven't had a pop at?

I don't beleive that they have had a go at HMRC as of yet, they are next in the firing line though, as if STFC didn't have to pay taxes etc then they wouldn't be in this financial mess.

I blame HMRC & SBC for the all the problems...but that Mr Bluh is a nice guy though  Soapy Tit Wank  Soapy Tit Wank

"Swindon Borough Council must have a degree of empathy with the Club's position having been, in the past, categorised as a 'Failing Authority' and for sometime were in 'Intensive Care'. Thankfully under the guidance of Rod Bluh and Gavin Jones are the Borough are now on the road to financial recovery"

Using their own logic then if they fucked off and let Power and co in we would be on the road to financial recovery.  Its nice to see that these morally deficient simpletons have now moved on from just pissing off their customers, they're now going for local resident groups and the council both of whom will need to be brought onside for any future ground devlepment.

Maybe the money to pay the CVA is in Bowden's head and that as he is such good mates with Rod Buh they will accept this as payment.

And not ONE single word regarding the so-called investor, when this would have been a very good time to reveal all.

Yeah, but if it wasn't for the Council we wouldn't need to go and look for an investor would we....and if it wasn't for Glenn Hoddle, we'd have never got promoted, so we'd never have got relegated, so Steve Mcmahon would never have come in would he eh, who would never have signed Jimmy Glass, and he'd never have been loaned out, saved Carlisle - who wouldn't be where they are now - as such, we think we should have a cut of all of carlisle's profits, because we put them where they are now - and then we'd be loaded and would be able to pay the Council, who of course are failing, like us, and we shouldn't have to pay them anyway. So there.
