Can't we scrape some cash together, buy Supermarine, change their name to The Real STFC, sign up the Swindon youth team (they do this bit anyway), submith a planning application for the site and start a better team?


  Think Puffett and Hunt have already got planning permission for a development at Hunt's Copse....should be able to do a Salisbury and get at least a shot at league football.

Swindon Supermarine are great for everyone's sanity, if the Town get destroyed, there's a huge fan base for a non-league club.  However, we would be a couple of divisions or so below Oxford.  

It was pointed out in another thread that if the courts had to consider friendly/unfriendly takeovers in the event of "a cock-up on the CVA front".
