Good luck to him. Always like and thought he had a very very tough job here.

Great news for Swindon.  He was the main reason why we got relegated, and hopefully his shitness will be passed onto Gillingham in their daily training routines

i disagree entirely.iffy inherited a shit team on the slide.then lost our best player and goal scorer.he was given fuck all to invest in players.

he was ambitious and took the job here, but i think he made a mistake in doing so.
but iffy is a top fella and i wish him all the best

i liked him too. not a great manager but inheirited a shit squad and had to rely on woeful loan players - which he was responsible for bringing in, to be fair - but he was a good bloke.

good luck to him

Fair enough he inherited a shit team, but he still had 37 odd games to turn our season round.  His inexperience cost us, as his tactics in many games were shocking.  He lacked any sort of man motivation, and other teams like the Franchise and Hartlepool seemed up for the fight of relegation, whilst Swindon didn't have that fire or zest in their belly to fight to stay up.

If Paul Sturrock was in charge instead of Iffy in that period, then im pretty certain Sturrock would have kept us up.  Also, if Iffy remained in charge last season, we would still be in league 2

We bottled it at the end of that season.

That included the players - it wasn't just Iffy.

Yeh, but we went on one hell of a shit run at the end of the season which only saw us win 2 games out of the last 13 we played. Sadly within that run, we played many fellow relgation candidates, and managed to lose or draw to them at home.

Lets not forget we also lost 7-1 to Forest in that run.
