My first thoughts were that it'll be okay, one of the Trust boys will come on and put our minds at rest. So thanks Fred for those words of comfort, I feel much more at ease with the whole situation.

Lets just stick to worrying about what is happening Cheesy

it was always going to end up in court bart.this is a major test of bills loyalty to the consortium and its takeover bid.

As I recall the consortium was set up with the intent of seeking investment, the way Mike W pitched it to the fans he was gonna canvas for cash - it then emerged BP was his man, it would be interesting to know if other parties are involved/have ever been approached and who they are

I do not beleive that Bill will walk away, he is not going to be bullied into clearing off by the jokers we have, at the very least he will go to court for his £1.2m (plus interest)  - I do not beleive Bill will walk away, he has an attachment to this club now and he knows what fan's think of him.

I don't think he has come this far just to up and leave when the going get's tough.

But QPR is his beloved club.

OK

Maybe I didn't word that very well.

I am sure that the FL would not allow such major investments in separate clubs (who might even be playing eachother within 14 months) by the same person, so from that angle I am sure that we are safe.

Bill has proved in the last 8 months that he is not going to let go that easily.

However................

As I have previously recorded (personally), the word "beloved" in his recent statement, coupled with this report today niggles at me a little

Perhaps its just me being a crotchety old fucker today

But if he takes the club to court Fred, wins recoups his £1.2, then fooks off to QPR. So then he won't have financial interests in both clubs.
Then we are totally up the shitter. Hopefully he won't go anywhere but the longer it all drags on the more and more worried I get.

Will he get any money if he wins in court?

If he takes the club to court and wins, how will he get his £1.2 mill back ?

The club have not got it !

Bill will not bankrupt the club, but could use the award to force through the sale of the club to the consortium.

Thats my take
