You can't blame Cureton for relegation last season. Ok he missed a few but scored a few aswell. Needed games. Ball played to feet. We never played like that. Just hoof ball. The whole team was shit, and rightly so, we were relegated. :goodpost:

I'm sure it won't be the end of this little episode.
One thing is for sure is that whether you love him or hate him - he won't be coming back.

Agree Arriba, I think we played football that didn't suit him and it didn't quite happen - he's by no menas blameless but he can't be held responsible for our relegation solely. Unlike some players who seem to move for £ Cureton went to Colchester to play at a higher level (I can't imagine he was on a kings ransom). If I was a CUFC fan I would however be livid as they've pretty much saved his career and he's shafting them.

I blame King & Iffy for relegation. Both shit managers, Iffy was an inexperienced shit manager who was out of his depth from day 1.

The fact is that it doesn't matter what he did xx seasons ago. If he came back here, was a success despite grief at the start, everyone would love him.
You might publicly say 'never', but he he got us promoted to the Chamionship or kept us up eveyone would lovehim because football supporters ahve the shortest memories and are the shallowest people in the world.
As long as the team wins nobody cares who plays for them. It's the result that counts and nothing else!!

if you want someone to blame for relegation, blame the board.
No spine, no ambition and no balls.
You dont sell your top scorer mid season.
I dont give a flying fuck if he was out of contract the end of the season. The team is more important that Rory Fallons desire to fuck sheep.
