Does seem a little off, however Colchester have just sold Iwelumo too, so he's probably thinking "me up front on my own in the championship - fuck me" or something along those lines.

Do not want him back here.

Still say that that year we got relegated he cost us dear. Not convinced about some of those blatant misses of his ala Yeovil away etc. Think he may have been waiting to excrcise his getaway clause in the event of our relegation....

Jamie Cureton moving to Bristol City would go down as well as Joey Beauchamp ever signing for us, wait a minute.

Part of the blame must go to that moron Onuora. Kept saying "I will play my strongest team" and kept incorrectly leaving Cureton out. Like Bristol city away he said the same, our top scorer was on the bench, the one man who could possibly keep us up, and a 16 year old and some shite that couldn;t score for Aldershot were up front.
And loaning him out - what a prick.

It is Onuoras fault we were relegated (as it was the fans who got King sacked), he has a lot to answer for

Iffy's not got a fucking thing to answer for. He took over a team with no confidence and got no financial support from the board.

I wouldn't have chosen him as manager as he had no experience and it was already pretty clear we were going to be in a dog fight when he was appointed. But to blame him for our relegation is unfair.

"Sources close to Cureton have told BBC Essex he is concerned the club's ambitions do not match his and he has handed in a written transfer request. "

You can't blame Cureton for relegation last season. Ok he missed a few but scored a few aswell. Needed games. Ball played to feet. We never played like that. Just hoof ball. The whole team was shit, and rightly so, we were relegated.

Spot on, he scored a fair amount and has shown he is a good player with the service!

I disagree, the squad we had was good enough to stay in the division, but he persisted in playing his favourite players and all but one of the loan players he signed were crap. He stuck with 4-5-1/ 5-4-1 when we all know that is shite
A totally inept manager who kept saying "lets take the postives"
Yes lets Iffy, thank god he is not still in charge like they were going to do
