"I am sure I will find a new club" - yes I hear Supermarine and Chippenham are on the look out for more Swindon rejects

Sturrock must have thought long and hard about that one.

“League Two was not a great league. There were some poor teams in it and not a lot of football played. I don’t think it suited my game very much.”

What a cunt, glad he's gone.

Because he actually got his head down and did some work once he'd got a kick up the arse. Doesn't change the fact he's a fatbury with an even bigger ego though. Oh and he's not very good.

despite being an idiot, he wasn't too bad a player imo. it was inevitable he was going to get the boot though.

Don't think it was inevitable because sturrock kept picking him. If you kept being picked then it would be a shock to anyone to be told their contracts being terminated.

So Brown obviously still thinks he is still too good for L2 ?

He's avin a larf - I expect him to sign for someone like Acrington Stanley

His antics did him no favours - yeah he played a bit - mosty a sub, sounds like Sturrock convinced him it was for his own good.  An on-form Zaboub is twice the player IMHO
