From the Trust site, posted by Paul D : http://www.truststfc.co.uk/forum/index.php?act=ST&f=4&t=5511&s=214ab01960522101fb9965f7f13294d8As of close of business on Thursday, we (or to be more accurate our lawyers) had still not received an NDA document as promised the previous Friday by the club's lawyers. An NDA is a pretty standard business document - a "boilerplate" document in effect - that does not take an experienced corporate lawyer 5 working days to draw up. We are extremely disappointed at the apparent lack of urgency and/or continued brinksmanship that the club's board appear to be engaging in over these discussions. We are also extremely mindful that we have a mandate from the vote taken at the members' meeting last Saturday for the Trust to start backing active protests and organise programme/season ticket boycotts should this most simple of steps not take place by the end of this week (ie by close of play Thursday). However, while recognising fans' and members' frustration at the ongoing and unncesssary delays, we are determined to give this process every opportunity to succeed. Equally we recognise we cannot delay that mandate forever; accordingly we will be reviewing the situation again early next week. In the meantime we would urge that if individual fans do wish to engage in protests, that these should continue to be after the game and within the bounds of the law.

Let's get all out protests started, it's plainly obvious that the board are not interested in selling hence changing the club badge shows this!
It's time to stop messing around and stop giving the board more time, enough is enough, we are all sick of the stalling by this board!!

The board are clearly cocking around, but I support Paul's view that we should wait until next week. To be honest, I would not be at all surprised now to see them try to hold on until we know whether we are going up. If they are looking to sell, I am quite sure they would now be thinking they might be able to make more from the deal if we were playing in League One next season.
The complicating factor here is the Scarborough issue. Unless they make an unambiguous statement to the effect that they have found a way around the issue and a viable plan is in place, then it looks like it could (finally) be the end of the road for them. We need to start demanding answers right now.
The local media's silence on the issue is a disgrace.

They are hoping that if they stall until the summer- it will all go quiet and we will forget about it

It's obvious what is going to happen, the board have just been stalling until the end of the season so that we cannot protest against them.
Hopefully the trust will back all out protests this week and there will be hundreds behind the arkells for the mansfield and walsall games!
This board have no intention of selling, we have known this all along, the board introducing a new club badge proves that they are planning ahead for next season and have no intention of leaving.
Looks like we will have to boycott season tickets in the summer.

Apparntely heard today that the board are not going to sign an NDA. Wonder why?
All we will get with them in charge is as follows:
10 point deduction No investors- who will invest with this lot at the helm No development in Swindon- council domnt trust them either
We MUST get them out- promotion from a league they got us into in the beginning must not detract from this

so you're saying that you know he's wrong, and is just shit-stirring? Pretty much yeah, all he does is shit stir.....as far as I'm aware nothing has changed since Paul Davis's comments on the Trust site. Bart just makes stuff up to try and get a reaction, should know by Wed whether they are likely to sign I believe....

I'll await to hear from the Trust and Consortium before making any comments on that.....bart etc are definately not reliable sources.
Announcements like this should be made by appropriate people, even if you do know something you should keep it to yourself. Making premature announcements will only harm the cause and fuel any divide. You aren't directly involved in the negotiations so have no right or authority to say what is or isn't happening!
Just wait for the official announcement before jumping the gun.
