Just been on the Rovers forum.
Their saying Filton Abbey Wood is closer to the ground than Montpeiler? You're talking a few hundred yards' diffference to be honest, Ralphy ... I used to live near there. Montpelier is better as there are way more 'safe' pubs on the way up Gloucester Road in that direction. The Hobgoblin, Bipshops' Tavern and stuff are quite near the station and I've never had any trouble in them at all ... The Anchor, though, which is a bit further up I'd probably avoid as I've seen a few fights in there before now.
