I doubt that they will get ALL the money up front, so cva re-negotiation on the strenght of the Lucas money will be the order of the day no doubt.

Agreed millom - far more likely that the money will be spread in my opinion. The main bit over say 6 months in 2/3 payments and then a further chunk on appearances (when/if they happen). I doubt we will get a sell on clause - if we have negotiated an "appearance" bonus then I guess further clauses are unlikely (hope I am wrong).

I think it is also likely that the CVA will start to look distinctly payable with that promise of income, as well as possibly some Wise compensation still kicking around.

Also didn't Andronikou say that he reckoned he had until December if he chose to to get the bullet payment in (or something like that?). I am sure he made that comment when you were pausing for breath - so hopefully you heard it too!!  Cheesy  Tongue

Although, from reading the thread on thisis Mav, it appears that most of your theories and assumptions about the CVA turned out to be a load of old cock, due to not understanding it all properly. So, I'd be disinclined to take much notice of what you think "likely"

Another thing is will Lukas be available to play for us again this season? surely if Everton sign him then they would be worried about the possibility of him getting injured if he was playing for us so would insist that part of the deal is we dont risk him this season.

Perhaps it will be like the Spurs deal for Mills when we get someone of Jamie Slabbers calibre from Evertons youth as part of the deal.

This is bad, bad, bad all round

First to admit to not undertsanding it all properly paul, as I did on the other forum. My guess is that 90% of us don't. It doesn't stop everyone from having opinions and thoughts and posting them though. It would be a dull forum that only posted absolute fact.

Maverick are you happy that in the best case scenario the transfer money will be used to pay off the cva?

Si Pi, why is that the best case scenario? As you said earlier, perhaps the best case scenario would be if the club is sold to somebody else - somebody with a vision for the club and a passion for football.

I meant the best case scenario with the transfer money.
Putting the takeover to one side, I'm completely unhappy with the Board selling up our best players, solely to to tide the club over.

We don't deserve to be anywhere but League 2 tbh

But that's not your personal idea of the best case scenario, is it?
