Well that's it for the consortium now then, the club will pay the CVA, all the fence sitters and board patsy's will be over the moon and the board will tell the consortium to fuck off.
I bet Bob Holt's creaming himself right now. Cunt. no i, like many others, will not rest until these bunch of idiots that run our club are gone!

true but they are doing my head in now! i really don't have much patience left. they better start caring because these protests are not going to go away just because they have some money to pay the CVA. they will keep on coming and growing in numbers until they have no choice but to care what we think

I just think we're guilty of believing our own hype in that Lucas is class just yet, theres no doubt that in time with the correct guidance he could do somethin special, i just dont think hes any better than anything else we have at the moment.
agree with that, it was kinda my point, sort of. In our team he doesn't look that great, but put him in a team where he'll get the support of better players that'll make him such the more finished article.

where the money goes from every income at the club worries me. And yet, you're more than happy to see the board sell our brightest prospect.... not happy at all.i just accept it as inevitable with all our better players.

It wouldn't have to be inevitable though if we had a board with a bit of ambition and passion for the cause.

The difference with Power is that the money, or a significant proportion, would probably be re-invested back into the team.

Our best players will always leave, Power or no Power. Abromivich he is not. With debts removed though, at least a decent portion of it would end up in sturrocks hands.

The difference with Power is that the money, or a significant proportion, would probably be re-invested back into the team. Spot on. If the fee being mentioned is correct then it's not a bad deal for us at all. My worry is that the board will come out this week and say 'this money will be used to pay the CVA' and then come the summer they will still be attempting to renegotiate the CVA because the transfer fee was used to cover "unforeseen losses". Naturally, we'll never know the truth because THERE ARE NO FUCKING ACCOUNTS!

I doubt that they will get ALL the money up front, so cva re-negotiation on the strenght of the Lucas money will be the order of the day no doubt.
