Packing up for the IOW festival at the moment, light rain forecast for Friday and Saturday, heavy rain Sunday :-(

Should be good, my first festival, i'm packing for all seasons weather wise.....

How did you find it? Weather was a downer yesterday, but we got quite lucky with the rest of the weekend.

Foo fighters were very very good. Was underwhelmed by Kings of Leon - their new stuff really is dire. Saw the vaccines as well, which was a properly good atmosphere.

Thought the line-up was a bit poor on the whole, but still had a very good (and expensive) weekend Smiley

Loved this when released in 86,great song from my younger days, not a great video but a brilliant early house record....Jack My Body was another hit and still got that on vinyl.

R.I.P.Darryl Pandy who sung the vocals died yesterday aged 48.

Got back last night, so glad i took today off work to catch up on things.

Yeah, the weather Sunday was dire. We stuck it outside until the evening when we saw Cast, PIL and the Manics in the Big Top, wasn't impressed with PIL.

Agree with KOL, a lot of people said the same around us. We went off and saw Joan Jett and the Blackhearts in the Big Top instead, she is one good looking women and they were very good.

Saturday saw the Vaccines and the Cult in the Big Top, Saturday evening was the best with Pulp and then the Foo Fighters.

Overall, a good and like you expensive weekend, luckily i get paid tomorrow.

Surely Hot Chocolate without Errol Brown would be like a walnut whip without the walnut.

edit: looks like it wouldn't be Brown then, but  KENNIE SIMON (http://www.hot-chocolate.co.uk/). Pah.
