If you have rather strange taste and find the thought of 3 hairy israellis in boxer shorts playing garage rock, terrorising the crowd and destroying venues attractive, make sure you catch Monotonix.  Here's a brief clip of the singer diving into a bin that has been smashed up at a show I did with them on tuesday

And here they are just doing the regular set.

They play on the floor surrounded by the crowd for ultimate crowd interaction.  Very entertaining.

Wouldn't get a proper rave in a club though, would you?

Like all these London pricks that go to 'Secret Warehouse Raves', which aren't secret, aren't in a warehouse, and aren't a rave.

Hated Nick Cave for years as I read an early review of his where he was touted as the Elvis Costello - I was into Costello as the time and didn't appreciate the journalist making such an inappropriate comparison!

Yep.  It still is.  I was there earlier this year.  Still a nice place.

Cave and Costello? That's a ridiculous comparison, apart from the fact they both begin with "C".Not Nick Cave's fault so I think your hatred was a little irrational NMH!

I think that the comparison was based upon acerbic lyrics rather than style of music.
