Going to see Chris Wood at the Arts Centre in a couple of weeks. For any folkies out there he's well worth a look. I saw him at Hatfield recently along with Kate Rusby, Lau and a few others. A good stroy teller who hates Thatcher.

The support was Depedro which was basically one of the fellas from Calexico's solo side project. He was pretty good. Got an Iron and Wine album, one with a dog on the front. |

I had such an ace time at V - I love posh festivals! not camping is the way to go!! Highlights were Ga Ga - who is LOUD!! turned up late but and has the most incredible powerful voice and foulest mouth! The Streets - I want to marry Mike Skinner Lemar - Who we watched by accident but was suprisingly good Katie Perry was pants we walked off due to bordem and Elbows set nearly sent us to sleep! BUT it was so ace and I dont even mind that I got got covered in beer - lost the back of my phone and my best cardigan from Zara and have a bad festival tan!  |

It was in Luxembourg Sutton. Not sure where in Europe they are touring or if they are coming to the UK. |
