Sex On Fire obviously had the whole place jumping. They finished the encore with Black Thumbnail which was mentally good.

Why, are you a bit of a groupie? Wink

On a serious note though, they can't come to the UK without doing that song. It's what they wrote it for.

Sex on Fire was the best I have ever heard it, the effect obviously helped by the two birds in front of us of course

Going to see Neil Young in Nottingham on Tuesday. Then a folk festival in Hatfield in july - Kate Rusby, Karin Polwart etc. I also got tickets for Alice Cooper at the Oasis in November. Might go for Motorhead as well - saw them back in 81 at the Colston Hall.

I booked Nottingham before he annuonced Hyde Park - can't do both but would have preferred Hyde Park. Saw him last year and he's still an angry fucker. Fantastic live but don't expect much interation with the audience. Expect some shit hot guitar playing.

Neil Young was superb Tuesday. Anyone going to Glastonbury Friday or Hyde Park Saturday is in for a treat. He nearly appeared "happy" and engaged with the audience. He must be mellowing but his guitar playing is getting more brutal. Two hours of pure class. Laura Marling supported and was crap.

I seem to be constantly on about them, but Im with Fleet Foxes in Wolverhampton tonight.  Anyone going to Glasto tomorrow or neil young saturday should see them.  Excellent live band.  I believe they're on around 4.30 on the pyramid stage tomorrow and 6.30 on saturday in hyde park.  Then im with them in dirty dirty leeds sunday.

A lot of her marterial seems to be auto biographical so based on some of the things you've written on here she'd have no shortage of material. It might lighten her up as well.
