Saw the Manics at Camden Roundhouse last night, they were very good.

Did the whole of the new album (which is their best for some time) first, then rolled through the hits after that, and a couple of ones they don't play so often.

Hey, I was there too, fantastic night.

Off to see Jarvis Cocker tonight. Hoping he plays a fair amount from his first solo album as I have heard mixed reports about his second.

Here is a video i took of William's Last Words, sung by a very still Nicky Wire, he did well to get through the gigs with his back all messed up.

Let us know what the story is Bob as I'm tempted to go catch him soon.

It was pretty good Dazzza. Certainly not the best singer in the world but very very entertaining and between songs was extremely funny. I know you aren't going to see comedy but everyone left with a smile on their face. Certainly is charasmatic. Played 3 songs from his first album and the rest from the new album and I thought overall it was a pretty decent gig. Would recommend as the crowds will be better in the UK as well as in Lux, people barely move!

Cheers Bob, he's headlining at John Peel at Glasto so may go and have a sniff.  Just hope he does one Pulp song, sorted for e's and whizz and I'll be over the moon.

He was good last year at the latitude festival.  Particular highlights being cunts are running the world an his cover of eye of the tiger.

Yeah I was praying for a Pulp song, but alas there was none forthcoming! Reckon at Glasto he might chuck in a couple for the crowd though! Common People would be my choice!

Was there a thread about what albums people have bought recently, or did I imagine it?
