Down in Brighton atm, Joe Bonamassa this evening.

First time I’ve been to Brighton sans football. What a great vibe to the place. Some right sights, mind!

For Wobbly Bob - I’m in the North Laines Brewhouse. Huge range of craft beers.

Not a gig as such but went to see "Back to the future the musical" in the West End yesterday.

Absolutely brilliant.

We went last year, it’s amazing isn’t it.
Especially the end of the show

The end of it was absolutely spectacular! and so unexpected (not spoiling it for those who havent seen it yet!).

Wasn't sure where to put this but for anyone that likes/loves shanty style music please, please boycott any ''Old Time Sailors'' gigs. They've been on suspicion of trafficking multiple touring band members for some time. A friend of mine who is part of a shanty band called The Jack Tars and a guy from El Pony Pisador have further confirmed what the three main ''members'' {or should we say ''leaders''} of Old Time Sailors have been upto.

Further, El Pony have also had their own music arrangements stolen by Old Time Sailors without even offering credit. EPP are the originators of much that OTS are copying.

If the stealing of multiple arrangements wasn't bad enough then the trafficking of band members and never paying them is simply slavery.

I'm not sure if Sax on here is also aware of their currents shenanigans but I do hope with any tour managers or festival circuit organisers etc, he can make some of them aware too and cancel them from their sets. OTS are still selling tickets and selling out across the country as gig and festival season kicks in.

To anyone else, if you were planning on going to an OTS gig {they do have quite a following in the South West and amongst a demographic of people in their forties, fifties and sixties - so there is every chance of some of you lot attending one of their gigs} please book to go and see El Pony Pisador at a gig instead

Linked - EPP on stolen arrangements:

Good old Sussex by the sea ahead of a rare opportunity to catch The Throwing Muses.
Until the late notice of postponement due to illness that is.

Probably won't be able to make the rescheduled date in September but there might be other UK options around that time.

Still, Brighton is a fine drinking city so might as well make the most of it. Albeit a pint & a packet of crisps is pricey.

In North Laine Brewhouse following super Aud's recommendation.
Not been to this part of town before. Cool.

Bierhaus next.
