I was going to go this but I've sacked it off
Seen it before, its really good
. Yeah I saw it in January 2023. Loved it. Gave me the rave bug back that evening did. Been going to loads of events since. |

Much like PL sides jetting off for some warm weather training between fixtures, fans also need to get away & hone their skillsets between games.
And so it is, in York for a short stay ahead of Stiff Little Fingers in the very good Barbican venue this evening.
A fine drinking city & hopefully back on the L2 schedule for next season after a long absence.

Saw that a few years ago when it was on tour originally, wasn't really my thing but it was a decent show none the less with good staging. |

It was really well done, and like most of those productions it was really entertaining The other half did mention that quite a lot of the audience was getting on a bit, but then I had to remind her that Bat out of Hell was released in 1977 |

House of All in Brighton last night. Include for fans of early Fall & those of who have read The Fallen, an appearance by the almost mythical Karl Burns on drums. Edit: Hopefully this makes more sense to the more sober readers than it does to me.  Green Door Store, a tidy small venue next to the station. |

Escaped some shite football match to head towards the Co-op Live Arena for Dr John Cooper Clarke.
Don't often get a poetry evening in a big venue.
