Elvis Costello in Oxford tonight.

Tourist madness here.
Maybe that's one of the reasons why our glorious metropolis was deemed to be a better place to live.

Will have to leg it early to ensure last train which is a shame.
Train travel on a Sunday is generally a piss poor experience & to be avoided if possible.

I missed that was happening. Saw him at Glastonbury with the Attractions way back when but would like to have seen him at an indoor gig.

Who's boarding the Vengabus at the CG next May?

Will probably be fairly fun in a silly way.

I have the missfortune of seeing them in Blackpool in February as part of a music  through the years tour. I am not expecting much.

We played the Castle on Friday this year. Last year was the Hop, before that think we played the Beehive 3 years straight.

Well, I enjoyed Johnny Hates Jazz at the sub rooms in Stroud.

Fair to say the crowd were an appreciative audience but there's not exactly a mosh pit!

Met a guy whose wife was a big fan and they had flown over from Belfast. Stroud is massive. And easyJet is cheap.

Then I remembered I earlier saw a guy who looked to be taking his stick for a walk and Stroud was restored to weird.

The very excellent The Men They Couldn't Hang in Guildford tonight.
Another helping after a superb show in Oxford back in May.

"Red is the colour of the new Republic."

The majority of the audience will no doubt point out "water in the eyes" as living legend Lee Peacock once said.

Only Fools & Horses was really good.
We’ve got tickets for Fawlty Towers, hoping that is good too
