I don't get the people who pay to go to a gig then stand at the bar talking, loudly.

Kirk Brandon in pre Theatre of Hate action with The Pack in Bristol tonight.

They don't play live that often but there is still a raw energy about this band.
140 capacity venue above a pub. Should be good.

A Day To Remember at the Brixton Academy in June next year. One of maybe two or three bands that both kids, my wife and I all like!

Saw Echo and the Bunnymen at Kelvingrove bandstand in Glasgow last night.  Enjoyed it.  Mac mumbling through a load of shite.  No idea what he said.

Over to Edinburgh for comedy today.

Have seen Johnny Hates Jazz 3 times as part of the 80s rewind tours, all I will say is that this Johnny hates Johnny Hates Jazz, I thought they (him) were awful live.

Enjoy it mate, we used to go the Fringe festival every year for about 15 years, had a great time.

If you get time check out the free comedy shows, there are some great ones, we used to average about 35 shows in a week. Its a great experience.

And we know what we're knowin'
But we can't say what we've seen
And we're not little children
And we know what we want
And the future is certain
Give us time to work it out

Ah well that's a shame, you have got to try these things though.

Had no idea they were back touring tbh. I assume it's  Dachler and Nocito.

Doctor and the Medics supported The Damned last night.
Surprisingly good.

For some reason thought of them as a 60's band but were formed in early 80's.
Clive comes across as a nice bloke.
I'd imagine that Spirit in the Sky keeps the royalties coming in with funeral requests in particular.

Unfortunately not, it wasnt written by them, its a Norman Greenbaum hit from the late sixties

Resisted the temptation to join the massed ranks of Swifties heading towards Wembley & opted for the much less glamorous surroundings of Sub89 in Reading for the always excellent Inspiral Carpets.

Must have been a close call though.....
