I saw them last year in The Vic, they're very good and well worth watching if you're an XTC fan (which I am) and they have Terry Chambers on drums to boot.

Fossil Fools (An XTC tribute band) are also excellent and are playing in The Vic in November.

Back from Truck Festival.  Football shirts were a popular fashion item. Saw many wearing yellow shirts with what looked like a steer on the badge. Only saw one festival goer wearing an STFC shirt.

Anybody know if it is possible to get in on the gate for a reduced price at WOMAD on the evening of Saturday 30th? I fancy seeing The Flaming Lips headline slot but can’t make it to the rest of the day and can’t justify spending over £100 for  a full day ticket. Cheers.

Just happen to be in Leeds ahead of some obscure minority interest sporting event tomorrow.
Also in town are The Men They Couldn't Hang, so that's this evening sorted.
Iconic venue Brudenell Social Club off the bucket list as well.
Serendipity in action, as it often is on the travels.

Saw George Thorogood at Shepherds Bush Empire for the umpteenth time. Still one of the best showmen around. One bourbon, one scotch, one beer!

Finally after 35 years of waiting and 2 and a half years since I originally got the twice cancelled gig tickets I get to see the great Joe Jackson in Birmingham.

From experience it's a great feeling to finally get to see a much loved band or singer.
Enjoy!

Im working Camp Bestival.  Yesterday I saw Mr Maker, Ukebox Baby, Rascal Raves and a Faithless DJ Set.

Today Ive seen Mr Tumble and the world record for the biggest choreographed disco dance in the world.

Later its Earth Wind and Fire and Kool and the gang.

I dunno whats going on.

Bauhaus in Brixton tonight.
Premium rate for the ticket but should be worth it.

And a big thanks to the RMT for the additional time & expense spent in ensuring attendance this evening.
