I just bought a ticket for Peter Hook & The Light playing the JD back-catalogue in May.

Fairly confident that at least us oldies should be allowed out by then, without the kidz getting under our feet. Though the mosh-pit will be more of a zimmer-zone.

One year to the day since last gig attended.
Hopefully venues will be able to reopen from 17th May.

After a winter of remote stoicism bordering on nihilism brought on by watching Swindon, will be a relief to look forward to a little bit of hedonism in the summer.

Unhappy of Swindon.  Me and my son were due to see Clapton at the Albert Hall in May (we knew it was not going to happen, but ....).  Paid big money cos it is a once in a lifetime thing...

I have just found out via looking at the Albert Hall Website the gig is cancelled (understandably) BUT only 2 of the four 2021 gigs have been rescheduled for 2022 and NOT the one we were booked for.

How does that work?Huh??  Who decides which two gigs are "cancelled" and which 2 are "rescheduled".  Given we had tix for the Saturday in 2021 and that show has been "cancelled" but the Friday has been rescheduled to the Saturday in 2022 it kinda doesn't make sense to me.

And Ticketmaster notified us of Sweet Fuck All, even though the gig was cancelled 3 weeks ago.  If I hadn't checked the RHA website I would have believed the gig was still going ahead (even though I knew it couldn't, if you see what I mean)

This has pissed me off.  My son is 20, Clapton obsessed and likely not to be able to see him play again, at a guess.

Rant over

Very much, my bro in law grew up with him. I knew Dave for the last 30+ years. Top bloke.

The last and only time that pub was decent.
