Gnarwolves playing Nottingham at the Bodega 14th May if anyone is interested. Not a bad melodic Punk stylised band. They play Brum, Manc and Leeds before. The Bodega is a small venue so always love to see a band rock it up.

Watching los campesinos at koko on Monday. Does anyone have any advice on how to get there?? Ideally I'd drive up but if parking is a nightmare I'll take the train

When I go to Camden I usually drive to High Barnet and park there, then get the tube down. Cheap as chips to park there and the northern line goes to Camden Town

On street parking after 6.30 is free. You can usually find somewhere on eversholt street which is pretty much at the venue front door.

Going to see Tom McRae and Ferris Sylvester at the Water Rats in Kings Cross.

Could be the smallest venue I've ever been to!

Saw them in The Vic.... was it last year  Hmmm

A decent outfit, if you like that sort of thing.

Talking of the dead kennedys have you heard Cabbage?  New band from Manc rather remind me of them.  In fact Im off to post one of their tunes in the other thread.

Try it, you might like it.

Giving Cabbage a go at Dingwalls tonight.
First visit to a historic venue.

When I managed the band we played Dingwalls, that is a small very sweaty venue, good atmosphere when packed though.

Tempted by this, because it's F&G, Randall as well I think, and I REALLY want to see Hazard.

Not a gig as such but got a ticket for Glastonbury. Never been so wanted to knock it of the list as always wanted to go and see for myself.

Don't have a clue what to expect and don't even have a sleeping bag so if anyone fancies letting me know what to take and what not to take that will be great

Expect a white middle class utopia and a feeling that the world is gonna change for the better, only to be left with a feeling of disappointment upon return to real life. Lots of walking as well.

No, I've never been, but would spend the weekend avoiding the main stages where possible. It's the equivalent of a large town with plenty enough to do & see without catching a note of live music.
