Springsteen is headling Hard Rock Calling, always wanted to see him but will wait to see who the other acts are before forking out £60.
he's worth £60 on his own, the bloke is a living legend and one of the greatest live acts ever...

Saw Dave Gorman do his Powerpoint Presentation the other week, was very good.
Damn right. As much as I enjoyed Stephen Merchant (and I did), Dave Gorman was much funnier. It does mean I have seen two commedians doing statistics based humour in two weeks, which appeals to the geek in me. Go stats!

I've seen both lately and preferred the Merchant show of the two, but I do love him quite a lot. Milton Jones on Thursday next.

I saw him compere a night in London a few years ago and he was brilliant. Very sharp with the ad lib stuff.
Then that crap tv show came out, and I saw him at Big Chill last summer and it was pretty shite. He repeats himself a lot, I think I've heard him say the one where he finds an Aussie in the crowd and says "You call us poms don't you? Yeah we call you racists" about 4 times.

Going to see Milton at the Meca next week plus Fat Boy Slim (Oasis), Kasabian (O2 Dome), Wilko Johnson (Brizzle) all before Christmas. Plus saw Friendly Fires (Brixton) last Friday who put on a proper good show. Add all that = no money after Christmas.

Milton Jones is a real favourite. I love his stuff.
Saw him in Edinburgh earlier this year. Whilst very funny in places I felt it dragged a little and some of his stuff was pretty terrible. In 30 minutes I reckon he could have a great show.

In Oxford last night, Milton Jones asked which football teams the crowd supported. After a couple of "Man Utd", "Oxford", and "Chelsea" responses, a woman down the front was brave enough to shout "Swindon" - widely booed of course!
After asking if he was needed any more, he came out with the joke, "The match I'd like to see, is Alex Ferguson's Manchester United against South Korea's Arsenal." Which sums the evening up pretty much, though it was the second time I had seen it and pretty much the same material.
