Wonder if Sturrock will win the manager of the month award?

Just uncovered this little gem

If he does then we need to employ a swat squad to take him out and employ someone "fresh" to maintain the momentum

Yeovil - Yes probably but my footie history goes back to the late 60's and I do really have a problem with Leeds.  I'm not right and wouldn't stand a chance if I stood for public office - but the great thing is I don't give a shit.  I'll regret posting tomorrow because I've had far too much but if it gives everyone a laught then I'm not proud

Oh and another thing Dave M Russell - I work with "spastics" everyday and they have far more sense to make of the world than you.  I'll wait for any reply before I really rip into you.  PS TEF regulars yep I was being ironic

STFC Lady - I wasn't being ironic about the rest of it - I do work for the NHS so see things from a slightly different perspective.  But I go on the forums for a laugh and I'm not getting all precious about someone calling me a spaz.  FWIW I enjoy your posts from the other side of the planet and would have liked to have seen Sydney for myself.  Hope you have a good time over there Beers

Fred - I bloody hated those sock number tassles, they way they were going to win everything, the fouling antics of Hunter, Bremner and particularly Giles - but.... they were the best thing we had to offer in the early 70's and it still pains me to say so.  When I went to college and had to put up with all th Yorkie Knobs banging on about Revie and fooking Led Zeppelin.....

I see PBoro had a combination in their side Arber, Low  which is just about a Derbyshire stone circle...well Arbor Low

  http://www.sfu.ca/archaeology/museum/britain/archbr/graphics/neo-23.gif

I started writing a book on the stone circles of the British Isles in 1976...haven't finished it yet.

This may be the first  occasion in this time, that we've played a side containing two players who's names are at least a homonym of a stone circle....this is a good sign.

Was quite obvious you were being ironic about the Leeds bit, didn't think you would try and be ironic about the nature of your work and wasn't referring to that.

I think if I were you I'd put on the beer goggles, not the wine goggles next time!  Beers

Can I ban him yet?

If anyone wants to see who Reg really is you can find him sidling around Stonehenge at the summer solstice.
