haha, that stone wall goes all around, what you can see behind with the umbrellas is the opera bar watering hole! As you can imagine spend rather a bit of time there! They do all sorts of beer on tap  Beers

Morning al, just going to bed. The Opera Bar is the best place ever. FACT.

We used to go down to Circular Quay on Saturdays, start at the wine bars facing into the harbour towards The Rocks then walk round to the Opera Bar and listen to their live jazz from 2pm on Saturdays. Fucking love that bar, one of the best kept secrets.

Do they still have live jazz on saturdays?

They do indeed! Think they do it Sunday now as well but not sure!

It is pure ace though, watching the sunset over the harbour is brilliant.

I don't remember many sunsets.  Oops

By that time of the evening we were either 2 pissed or getting changed to go to Darling Harbour, or one of the more "characterful" establishments... Scruffy Murphy's, Shark Bay Hotel, Scu Bar...  Beers

Scruffy Murphys! Oh my God! That place is an absolute dive however its ace if you're hammered. We've been there quite a bit for the live bands and the Shark Hotel for cheap Steaks!

Scubar is too small though!

The sun tends to set relatively early so normally I can remember sunsets! Darling Harbour is ace too!
