I am sure Ardilles that it is just breakdown in communication channels between lawyers etc.
Whilst frustrated at lack of progress, personally I am quite satisfied from our perspective that all is being undertaken to progress the situation.

Whoa lads.
That 7 days runs out tomorrow where they indicated that a statement will be forthcoming.
Lets not get out of our trees over things that we can only speculate about.
Calm heads, lets see what the next 48 hrs brings then make our observations.
Knee jerk reactions at this stage without knowing the full facts could be potentially damaging.
Like I said, if, in 2 days time a statement is issued that confirms your feelings Ardilles then that is the time that we should comment on it IMO.

I am sure that heaven and earth is being moved in order to facilitate this. As I said the next 48 hrs will, I am sure, bring more information out. Personally, at this stage though, no information release should only be viewed as a positive sign, and a sign that things are being conducted behind closed doors

They stated that a further statement would come after 7 days.
Like I said, I hope there is no need for one which would indicate that things are being discussed behind closed doors Rich

I think the "7 days" deadline is Wed 24th IIRC - bear in mind the statement was posted late Tues night, hence largely designed for consumption the following day.

There's effectively 4 parties that have to fid a mutual meeting time - STFC, consortium, and the respective legal reps - it's feasible that they haven't met yet, but strange that they aven't fixed a date yet. Here's hoping it just gtes sorted - both sides have aksed for it to be kept quiet now, so I suppose we play our part in that too. To an extent, no news is good news - means it hasn't been dismissed to their face yet

everyone just relax, everyone seems to be a bit nervous, let things take their course. Everyone wants information right now. Admittedly I do as well but we cant rush these things. We have to make sure things are done properly.
I truly believe things are going to get better.... they have to don't they? We are 2nd in the league, Lets all unite as one. Lets get to league one and lets hope an agreement can be made by all parties to take the club forward!

Whatever happens I know things have got a lot better since we have had a shadow board as a serious alternative to the current one. They have had to appease the fans a lot more. The longer we can keep the pressure up the better. And hopefully hasten their departure.
Its the first time in 5 years where I actually feel that the fans have been able to exert any pressure on the board at all. Before september 06 we were told to get back in our hole and shut it. And basically we did just that. They cant do that anymore. Weve gained some respect.
Which just goes to show we should have mobilised ages ago. And we should continue to mobilise and critisize and scrutinise to get what we want. Investment into the team.
