I believe they are saying Ashton Gate will be used for the rugby team who share with Rovers at the moment.

The Rovers plans include building accomodation into the side of one of the stands - seems they managed to get planning permission OK, even with such a "fatal flaw"

It'd have to be a hell of a lot of money to justify playing on a cabbage patch of a pitch by October and relaying it by February!
Terrible idea, no way.

I dont think the Police will allow it. Both clubs would have it.
I can see serious carnage. I cant imagine comming back from away games knowing there are knife weilding Rovers about every week.
If it happens it will change everything. Seeing Rovers in the Town End, and in the CGH! UUURRRGH! The self loathing!

Most of the options seem to be out from what I've seen.
If the rugby club go to Ashton Gate then Wovers will have a straight choice between us or Cheltenham.

groundsharin with a rival would be hell.especially with the rovers granny beatin thugs
