Anyone watch this? One of the worst PPV's ever surely. HHH injured his leg, so they had to end the match early, and John Cena vs Umaga was unsurprisingly awful.

Wrestling hit its peak in '99
Stone Cold was huge, everyone knew he was...
'00 was the year of The Rock (not Pook!!!!)
'01 was decent, but I stopped watching when Brock Lesnar was the next big thing.....which I think was 02??

Giant Haystacks was good.
And Big Daddy.
And Kendo Nagasaki.
And Mick Mcmanus.
Fucking yanks ruin everything with their razzamataz.......
What's wrong with wrestling at some shitty town hall, full of old dears in national health specs, hitting the wrestlers with their handbags.
No sense of tradition.....................

Hogan came back in 06 as well as every other year. Will be at this Wrestlemania too (April 1st for your diaries) Lesnar debuted the day after Wrestlemania X7, which goes on record of being the best Wrestlemania ever (I watched it over the past few nights, Rock v Austin is still great). So best Wrestlemania was 6 years ago. It all turned sour after Wrestlemania 21, they peaked on that show with so many good matches and has been shit since. I still watch it though, there are one or two good bits. Hans, my main man, I did record it, fucking dire weren't it? The only thing that made it interesting was the cool finish to the Hardy / Nitro match. HHH blowing his knee was funny as you saw their team just explode in a ball of green-ness, especially when Tripper was set to Pedigree Edge and Orton ran in with a chair, and then just ran out like he wasn't there!! Roll on WMXXIII, hopefully it'll be better than last year's shite

It all went down hill after HHH came back from injury and they he won the rumble, they pushed him as face despite the fact he wasnt over at all....then he won the WM main event by squashing Jericho. Shit match, shit booking, shit result....it was basically HHH Vs Steph with Y2J in the middle so HHH could be champion again....thats the day wrestling died...although HHH did drop the title the next month to Hogan

im not going to get into a massive debate about this but to be honest anything after 97/98 anything but average/good.
The best WestleMaina i my opinion was 9, in ceasers palace, double main event of yoko vs bret and money inc vs mega maniacs.
i cant be arsed to go into it, to much hassle

Kane v HHH was the only thing semi decent under the main event. 18 was utter shite, except for the spectacle of Hogan vs Rock. 9 is considered the worst ever in most circles, but since you don't wanna talk (I've just looked at the matches, that was horrible, please tell me the stand out matches as anything with Yoko in was horrible and Hogan's matches don't count as they are all the same!) 17 had loads of great matches, Rock v Austin, McMahon v McMahon, Angle v Benoit, Undi v HHH, TLC match between Hardyz, Dudleys and E+C, Gimmick Battle Royale and the Hardcore match between Kane, Show and Raven with the golf cart and all the backstage action. Plus Motorhead live 21 comes close second, Rey v Eddie, Money in the Bank, Undi v Orton and Angle v Michaels. Plus Motorhead live again

It all went down hill when Vince Screwed Bret Hart and let shawn michaels win the title i think at survivor series 97, and when Owen Hart died live at event. I have Wrestlemania 16 and 18 on vid anyone want to buy it. I think Wrestlemania 9 and 10 were brilliant so was Wrestlemania 20 when Guerreo won beat angle. And benoit beat HHH and Jericho and there was a ticker tape moment when Benoit won the heavyweight title.

Anyone watch the British stuff on the Wrestling Channel? LDN Capital Tv or something it's called. Funny as feck, especially when this manager turns up wearing his silly hat.
