Time for a rant:
1) Yearly shortfalls:
Previously Mike D has stated he has to find £750k a year. Now we know (well it was obvious anyway) that all 'finding' these funds entails is persuading previous investors to part with more money. I think Where's Wally would be more difficult to find.
2) Character assassination:
Yeah that's probably true - Mike D shouldn't get all of the blame, there are others in the club responsible for the crap that goes on. However, it can't be undeserved. The club continually makes character assassinations of us fans. Whatever the fuck happened to 'the customer is always right' ethos? More like the customer's a little shite.
3) No accounts/cashflow department years ago:
Well where's the evidence they fucking exists now? An unpaid VAT bill, no published accounts for years, CVA payments not being made despite 'funds existing'. Really fucking clever Mr Diamandis, it's quite clear you haven't thought this through.
4) Wanting out of media spotlight:
See above point (3). Little fucking wonder. It's obviously far too taxing for someone of your superior intellect to do this properly before interviews. Heaven forbid!
I could go on, but it would be more wasted energy. Clearly we're all supposed to be bumming the club for finally shedding some light into the situation. It wouldn't surprise me if the board issue another statement slagging off these concerns we all have once again.
