For obvious reasons I took a great interest in the whole QPR court case. It should be made clear that all of the six men accused were given not guilty verdicts. As I understand it, not one piece of forensic evidence was provided that could place any of the men in the room where the event was supposed to have taken place (my old office incidentally!), let alone whether there was ever any gun/s involved. Very fortunately I was away on holiday, in Sicily of all places, when this incident allegedly took place, and I was never interviewed by the police. As for writing my own contract, It is weird that I was never accused of that by QPR, as part of their defence, when my employment situation went legal. Anyhow, On to more positive things. The support in Torquay looked fantastic, I trust a good weekend was had by all. I was really looking forward to that particular away game as I have relatives who live just a few minutes walk from Plainmoor.

Having never spent any real time in hospital before, having to spend a total of nearly six weeks inside felt like a life sentence. My wife keeps telling me how lucky we are just to still be around, but at the time it was really frustrating and incredibly boring. Stan has started to walk unaided again, although he does a great Douglas Bader impression, and he is making very good progress. Many thanks again for your best wishes.

I hope to get to a game, although I need to sort out my situation with the club first I guess. And the good news is that I'm a really cheap date because all the anti biotics I'm on mean I'm limited to coke at the moment.
