Fantastic - and fair play to SSW/the board/whoever for making an appointment that shows the ambition to get promotion back on track. We're going up as fecking champions!!!!!!

Absolutely awesome news what was looking like a poor attendance and shoddy cup game is now going to have a great crowd and buzzing atmosphere to welcome Paul Sturrock. The Swindon Town rollercoaster continues, reckon promotion is now back on the cards. :guinness:

I'm over the moon.
I agree with you paul, i think the board should be given some credit for appointing someone that both the fans want and the club need.
Wise leaving could have been the best thing to happen to us in a long time. We've now gone from relatively unknown, unproven, but clearly good manager, to a proven, accomplished manager.
What a rollercoster this season has been!

Until he signs that contract I'm still expecting John Hollins/Calton Palmer/Terry Fenwick to be appointed.
No really.
