i'm glad the board ignored the ridiculous emails from supporters prematurely demanding nijholt as manager after an article in the local rag.
good luck paul, give us stability please

I am delighted we have Sturrock on board, however:

I don't think anyone 'demanded' that the Board appoint Nijholt.

I don't see that appointing Nijholt would have been 'ridiculous'. I think he could have done a great job.

And why do you use the word 'prematurely'?

In fact the only words you have typed which are not total crap are..."Nijholt as manager after an article". Kindly delete the rest.

i used the words prematurely as people did email starnes stating they wanted nijholt as manger after an article in the adver.that in my opinion was a premature reaction!and i am glad he wasn't appointed.

I just 'met' Paul Sturrock. He was on a pre-press conference tour of the ground with (I think) Stairnes and entered the club shop just as we were about to leave.

Had to do a double take, welcomed him to a Swindon and wished him luck. All with the composure of a giggling schoolboy  :-))(
