Interesting views from the Grimsby fans.

They seemed to think they ref was shit - in their favour - which is a bit odd considering how much he gave their way.

I reckon this is a bit of an optimistic view from their end, but was most interested that they thought Walsall and Hartlepool were better than us.

I went to the game yesterday and I'm still trying to work out how we lost by three goals, because there was absolutely no way we deserved to.

Swindon to me looked very reminiscent of us last season - well organised defensively, but not having a great deal up front. I think we've played at least two better teams than them this season in Walsall and Hartlepool and I'm not convinced that they'll be up there at the end of the season.

We created five or six good chances, but had no luck at all. I felt we should have had at least one penalty, possibly two, but we got little change out of officials who seemed to be repeatedly conned by Swindon diving all game.

What pleased me most of all was that the players kept trying, even at 3-0 down. They put everything into that game and to get that result was an absolute travesty.

If we play consistently like we did yesterday, we'll win more than we lose.

I thought the ref was one of the better we've seen this season.....played some good advantages.

Don't know about diving....another ref might have reduced them to 9 for a couple of hacks and two footed tackles.

total bollocks, Brezovan and Williams didnt have a shot to save all game and we could have had 3 more goals...Weston dragged a few shots wide, Rhodes if he had timed his run could have scored one that counted.

Ref was generally alright, apart from with the cards. He seemed to talk to the grimsby player yet book all ours for their first bad tackle...Weston and Fola....

Interesting how 5,000-odd people can see games differently. The guy sat behind me more or less wanted the ref's head on a stake outside the ground. I thought he made one or two bad calls in the second half - although Rhodes was never offside in a million years (I was in line with him in the Nationwide) but that's hardly the refs fault. There were a few tasty challenges in the second half but he wasn't the worst we've seen there this season.

The opinions from the Grimsby fans seemed to be they didn't deserve to lose by so many ... but they were, as a team, a bloody shambles.

I never noticed our diving throughout the game!, Wise must stamp this out now.

I think they may have mistaken Fola's bambi-on-ice routine as diving. Easy mistake

I think the fact that we only won 3-0 goes to prove his point though. We are really lacking up front!

Wandering around a random bar in Bondi last night and to my delight, who should I meet but a Grimsby fan!  What a miserable fucker he was with a dodgy t-shirt too!  Hours of fun could have been had taking the p*ss but gave up when he couldnt name a single playing in his team. Twat.

Made my evening, just thought id share that  :|
