....This is only the second time in our history, we've drawn 3 league games in a row 1-1.....the first being in March 1929, when points were won at Norwich and Northampton sandwiching a home draw with Charlton.

bah! We've yet to beat Stanley, but we did get a point in 59 at Peel Park, and Arnold Darcy, who was there yesterday played. |

12 October 1959...we lost 3-1 and Bobby Woodruff, Ernie Hunt, Keith Morgan and Arnold Darcy played, they were all at yesterday's game... Bobby Woodruff, was considered to have the longest throw-in in England at one time. |
