I know there has been a wave of Dukey nostalgia on Swindon message boards, but to me he is shit. He wasnt the worst, but the amount of games he played meant he had more opportunity to make a cock of himself. Hewlett, Lee Collins, also total dogshit and played plenty of games. Allan Young rubbish. The worst were obviously the loan players and trialists, but at least they only got a few games.

Since 1999 we have had some really crap teams though. From Ndah leaving in 1999 (?) I dont think we had one genuinely good player until Sam Parkin and Stefani Miglioranzi signed for us in summer 2002. I dont think last seasons team was as bad as those 3 sides of 99-02. But it was bad. Pook, Cureton both shit, and some current STFC players who can remane nameless, because they are turning their reputations around!

I dont understand the reference to Jarrett? To me he was a silky dribbler. But a typically uncommited and uninterested loan player. Besides he only played about 45 mins for us. He was never a real STFC player, doesnt count.

Have you just copied and pasted a list of players vd? Quite a few of them don't deserve to be on there.

Nicky Tanner - (unbelievabe he was a Liverpool player).
Jon Sheffield - (No idea why Gorman thought he was premiership material).
Neil Rudduck - (Nothing to add that hasn't already been said).
Scott Endersby - (Just because my dad had a row with him outside the ground and he called him an Irish *unt.)

That was just a case of filling a hole when we were in the shit.

I always felt very sorry for Jon.

blinkpip has some deep-rooted pathological hatred for albert jarrett, despite the fact he was only here about ten minutes and as you said he only played 45 minutes or something silly.

the most notable thing he did was crash into someone's car. i'm guessing it was blinkpip's.

I wished he did. I need a new car.
I just think he's shit.  That is all.

Yes

Couldn't believe it when he became a Premiership regular - I'm sure Brezovan must be a better 'keeper.
