Lawrie Sanchez never liked him and summed up the worst of that bad batch. One of my friends described him as a "Swindon Town legend" a couple of weeks ago. We nearly bundled him for that. |

It just goes to show that you realy don't need too much talent in football to get on.
Nicky Hammond is a classic case.
Crap keeper that went to wooden club in more than one way.
Next thing we know he's got a chairman with a bottomless wallet and hes Director of Football at a PreM Club!
There's hope for us all!!!

Not the greatest talent granted, but always put in a good effort, and scored a reasonable number of goals considering the quality of opposition he was up against in the prem. |
