wise will get him fit and i hope he will be a usefull addition to the squad..its good that we are starting to get cover in this area as it is definatly a area where we have suffered for a long time now

still need another wide man imo

I was hoping that Whalley would get fit, but with some of these journeymen, the years of getting kicked and accumulating injuries finally catches up with them, and they can't do any better.....which is why they go from higher divisions commanding fees to being in L2 on frees.

As the manager at STFC, you're limited by finance to gamble on this type, at least its only a year.

I'm surprised they signed Evans so quickly. I would have expected them to spend two weeks getting him somewhere vaguely resembling match fit before making a decision.

I noticed on Sat that he is a talker and was trying to organise, which I feel is exactly what we need.....but you need a bit more than just that.

Reminds me of when Gorman signed Fuckwit, because he was a good talker, recall him coming on v Newcastle...waddling around somewhere in front of the back four, holding conversations with any red shirts nearby like a housewife over the garden fence on washday...

The Magpies just streamed past him Maradona style and set up chance after chance for Andrew Cole all of which he hilariously spurned, though the frame of the goal took a pounding.

I think that when fully fit he will be a very good signing. Hes only played a handful of games in the last 12 months so theres a limit to how fit hes going to be straight away.  Look how different last seasons squad look fitness wise in a relatively short space of time.

he's 31.

not sure what to make of this, doesn't neccesarily mean the ince move is dead in the water although my first thoughts were that evans is the alternative to ince. i should imagine there's still some room in the wage budget for ince though.

regardless, once he gets fit i think he could be a good signing - he's got a good pedigree at this level, experienced and there's nothing to indicate he's lost his ability.

dont think he will play at all to be honest, a bit of a pointless signing.
