What do you think then?
To be honest I hope the boy gets a slating cos he deserves it and I hope the press don't bum him for being our alleged golden boy. He has to learn now, he should've done from Spain, Northern Ireland etc but he hasn't.
Beckham learned but I reckon Rooneys already had more of a chance.
Bring the cunt down a peg or two, press.

Rooneys stamp, and his behaviour previously.
In any of those cases I can't see how you can say he's done nothing wrong.

i said i don't think he stamped on Ronaldo. i can't see his foot raised and then come stamping down on CR.
ala Cantona on Moncure(sp) that was a stamp. Roonies wasn't.
and i can't see how a bit of passion is wrong. he's the only fucker with it yet people like you slate him for it.

Terry, Becks, Hargreaves, Gerrard, Rio, Robinson- they were crying their eyes out cos they didn't give a fuck? Carragher lay face down for an hour because he has no passion? I don't think he stamped on Ronaldo either, never said he did. I would say he stamped pretty fucking hard on Carvalho. Yes Rooneys got passion but he's like Gurney, most people confuse passion with being a mindless no brained thug.

regardless of semantics, rooney did that with intended malice in my opinion. he knew what he was doing.
as dave said, the boy needs to learn and i think he will. hopefully it won't change him entirely because that aggression is an important aspect to his game.

Have to say at first I thought it was an accident, but the replay makes it look like he did it on purpose.
If that's the case he deserves all he gets, just like Beckham did against the argies in '98.
Ronaldo is still a cunt though.
