italy looked a good side.

Ghana are a decent striker away fro being a good side.

Kuffour is my new hero for uber foul play when he was offside anyway!

One constant in football is that African teams are decent until they get to the final third.

The only decent African striker Samual Eto'o isn't at the tournament because he lacked the bottle to take a last minute pen that would have qualified the Roons.

It was obvious after 15 mins, that Ghana wouldn't score if they had another 90 mins at it....

No idea why this should be........

Cameroon probably deserved to beat us in 1990 though.

Ivory Coast, with the best African team of the moment, have been drawn in a terrible group really.  Even Serbia & Someonethey'renolongerfriendswith have a very strong defence and will be a tough match.

It was all the rage to predict an African World Cup win in the not too distant future during the nineties, and possibly before, yet for all the psyhical and technical ability some of their teams possess, they don't seem to have cracked it yet.

They panic whenever they attack, no composure in the final third. The rest gives them the look of a good side.

A few good balls into the box and a decent marksman, and these African sides would be getting the results they deserve
