I've reported this thread to the moderators and asked it to be closed. Basically it's wrong. Gurney is amazing, our best midfielder. It was playing alongside the lightweight clueless Migs on Saturday that made him look poor.
OK Gurney hasn't been in the best of form....but it should be recalled that his battling qualities have helped stabalise this season....and he probably took a pay cut to come and play for us when he could have sat on his arse and seen out his contract at Swansea.
He could have sat on his arse at Swansea, but instead he came here, took the paycut and sits on his arse. Just on the pitch rather than the bench.
