tbh he was awful yesterday, truly awful! however the way he got wound up whilst he was still on the field did show that at least he may care enough to get fustrated! others didnt want to know. he was a twat for storming down the tunnell though! when you haven't played well you cant complain at being subbed simple as

So walking down the tunnel = complaining and being subbed?

yes thats why he was in a strop! why else?

because he knows he has not played very well, if you knew you had a shit game and knew you deserved to be subbed what would you reaction be, personally id be angry with myself....

So now walking down the tunnel = strop?

Just above the players tunnel people were saying how crap he was when he was walking out, he just looked up then went in.

He's better with P.Smith upfront than with Migzi. Migzi had an alful game too, but what can you expect Fallon just moved out so he must be sad still. \o/

im sorry but im as anti gurney as they come - useless bag of shite.

all he does when he plays in defence is hoof the ball forward every time he gets it or plays a short backpass for any pacey attacker to get hold of. when he plays in midfield he still loves to hoof it and all he can seem to do is kick the way hes facing, its like he cant turn! serious actually watch him, he could be stood on the edge of the opositions 18 yard box but if his back is to goal he will never turn but just hoof it back to someone else.

shocking, was so glad when he left and cannot belive he is back.

not to mention the fact that 90% of the free kicks he takes end up either at the wall or in the stands (about another 9% on target) and all he ever does it get booked for mouthing it (hopefully he will be suspended again soon)

Fucking hell, Im no Gurney lover for christ sake and he has been awful the last 3 or 4 games, but to claim he hasnt had any sort of positive impact on his return is just stupid.

He has played well this season, played much better than he ever did in midfield in his first spell, he's had some stinkers recently but I guess peoples memory doesnt go back much further.

Yeah but that was when he was on loan looking for a deal. Now he's got it, he obviously couldn't give a shit.

I've reported this thread to the moderators and asked it to be closed.  Basically it's wrong.  Gurney is amazing, our best midfielder.  It was playing alongside the lightweight clueless Migs on Saturday that made him look poor.

I'd consider playing him at rightback still, as Smith's been patchy in most performances, but in midfield i'd rather see Thandy Gray.

OK Gurney hasn't been in the best of form....but it should be recalled that his battling qualities have helped stabalise this season....and he probably took a pay cut to come and play for us when he could have sat on his arse and seen out his contract at Swansea.

I wasn't being sarcastic....  Well other than the reporting it to the mods!  I still maintain Gurney is our best midfielder as Miglioranzi is far too inconsistent for my liking.

I suspect Migs is coming to the end of his STFC career and probably English football....think he'll be looking to move on to do something different with his life.
