not talking about LJF, talking about Caddis and ferry! Centre-back will sort itself out. I'm sure we'll sign another. Maybe not now...

I think more people are putting hope in Morrison than LJF, although both are young so either could potentially grow into the role. I for one hope that Sean can fill Greer's boots. He made mistakes before but Southend fans rated him very highly. Whilst it is far from guaranteed that he'll be good enough, there is a chance he could step up.

TBF I would have been rated highly by Southend fans last season. Big chance for SM to prove himself for us this season though.

hence the creaming of the pants, Reg...
I'd have thought this might be a case of premature ejaculation...we know Ferry is a decent player, and Caddis may well prove to be....I'd have thought a vague stirring in the loins, but not quite a semi would have been more the order of the day.

I'm not blaming the Adver...there's is just flirtatious behaviour, a low cut top....just surprises me that some of our fans are so easily excited.

it's not just that we're buying ferry and caddis, Reg, it's what the move represents. We're offering big(ish) money for players of a higher standard, something we're not used to. Most of the players we've bought in recent years – until last summer – have been on the cheap, or from loan spells. This represents something of a new era. We mean business, and it gives me a lob on.

Fitton &Wilson have both said recently that they had their fingers burnt by the robinson saga last summer and won't make that mistake again. I don't think they have on this one.

This. I feel no shame for getting a tweak in my pants at the prospect of paying a fee for a couple of up and coming players..... beats the shit out of signing the likes of Coca Fola onionbaji and Steve 'the crab' Adams on frees (not sure why these 2 stand out in my mind as non lob-on inducing signings)

You'll go blind or get hairs on the palms of your hands if you do that. Let the vague stirring subside naturally or take a cold chower perhaps?
