That's about 1/2 a mile from where i live, although i only saw it on the BBC news 1/2 an hour ago, missed this thread yesterday!

Love to know the story how it ended up having to land in a residential area which could have ended horribly.

So would I. Amazing job at landing it how they did. Also, they did well to land it there and not 20 yards away in a much busier main road into the town centre.

A case of well done all.

The service I've received from kitbag/fanatics.

The item shipped from the USA (ordered Sunday, arrived Thursday). Unfortunately it arrived with damaged packaging, not normally a big issue but it's a signed collectable and a present.

Contacted them on social media. Got a reply and a plan of exchange within 30 minutes or so.

I was expecting to re-order and return the other for a refund. But they've checked remaining stock was undamaged and shipped a replacement in less than 24 hours.

And they've just told me I need not return the broken one.

It's a £75 item and they've done that on trust and a picture.

Never had service like that before.

Gas logic, explaining things!

When you look at the Swindon situation with context.

12 in the door. 3 loans from Prem U21 sides. 2 free transfers from under 21 sides. One player was on loan there last season and desperate to stay in the south west. One wants to finish where his dad played. One totally unknown non league player. The rest all free transfers from the likes of Wimbledon and Cheaterfield.

Have they backed Holloway anymore than We’ve backed Clarke? Possibly with the addition of Palmer after their main man got injured but we will have to wait and see I suppose?
I know fans often don't care, but Swindon are actually pretty well financially run, having only lost £800k over the last three years published accounts, whereas over the same period we have lost £13m !

They have just sold a young striker to Norwich which would probably have helped Ollie not to have to sell Harry Smith, but with his ACL injury those funds might need to help fund Palmer's wages. I'd have thought that Palmers wages would be significantly higher than others, perhaps Wrexham are helping out in some way
