Wouldn't be a bad appointment, but I do worry for any manager coming to us atm

Imagine my surprise that we are looking to recruit another Irishman, I think I predicted mcwhoever in a different thread.

I wonder if there is something to this Irish thing 🤔

Interesting one. When did we last appoint a manager who wasn't unemployed at the time*

* I realise the answer is John Sheridan, but he was working for a bankrupt club who weren't paying him.

I love this quote from a Barnet forum at the end of the season.

Over the past two seasons we've seen that scoring goals is not a problem. The main issue DB has to address how to play in a way that ensures we still manage to out score the opposition without over stretching our defence and leaving our GK exposed with a simple ball over the top to a pacy striker.

Sounds like he will fit right in with the 'swindon way'

Just came here to see which dickhead thought it would be clever to post BRENNAN OUT before he’s even joined us…

Already looking forward to us offering £20 as compensation, they'll say they tried to appoint someone and then giving Gunning the job in 8 weeks times.

It’s sad that that isn’t an unlikely possibility

I think you may be significantly over estimating the levels of any compensation needed to get a NL manager out of a club.

If it’s more than a tenner and some marbles then you can’t blame someone for being sceptical

No need to get personal.  Difference is I say this as a joke rather than to troll, which is very much your MO.  You can get back under your bridge now..

Does paying for a manager get included in the transfer embargo? It would be peak Town that they agree with things then realise the suspended embargo has been triggered and we can’t bring him in.

Dean Brennan from Barnet is preffered choice
They may have to call us the the Dubliners or the Irish Rovers. Out of curiosity who is his agent?

Could be a coincidence?

Green away kit next season confirmed?
