Down the m4 could just as easily be reading where he was as a youngster (I think)
They released him for being "too small". Being a natural goal scorer clearly didn't interest the coaching team. Oh and he's over 6'. I believe Gladwin was also released by Reading in the same year for being "too small" - fuck knows what giants they were looking for - the local basketball coach must have been doing some moonlighting.

Didn't they sign John Swift? He's hardly an extra for land of the giants.

They’ve released him as well
Would suit Garnerball.

Would suit Garnerball.
Has many suitors in way higher leagues than us, Forest after him and Sheff Weds too.

I’ll bet you £20 quid he doesn’t come back. Come to think of it I think we had £20 riding on something else recently but I can’t for the life of me remember what

The gas fan I see at one of my work places was very complementary about us being the best team he’s seen this season, naturally rather happy at getting third place in spite of the dubious circumstances of their final match. So his £10 on 7-0 @ 33/1 was a good move, he also as it happens covered 6-0 & 8-0 with a tenner too, just in case.

And thus probably takes him off our list. Meh, I'm not sure he'd be my choice anyway - willing, but needs too much work.

If they've done that under the impression we'll pay money for him then they may be regretting it.

Based on this season he is likely to get 20 goals a season. With the work he needs he will be a 30 goal a year man then

They've triggered extensions for several players - Again, probably hoping for a fee. Can't blame them. Wouldn't pay for him though. Edit: Especially as Charlie Austin will replace him!
