I think having spent the last week giving the players a bit of a kicking (rightly), Paolo needs to spend next week lifting them up for the Vale game. They all sound a bit downbeat to me.

Absolutely - all the players need a big lift next week. Hope the CG crowd give them a rousing celebration - and that the team respond and beat Vale and win the league!  Pint

And I'm sure that's what will happen. As has been mentioned though, there's going to be a hell of a lot of comings and goings during the summer - and there needs to be.

Let's worry about that in the close season. I think you must be on the wind up.

Very professional from Connell. He has every right to feel a bit hard done by imo.

Whoever we want to blame, the last week has affected the players.  Let's hope it's now properly behind us, the strongest 11 are picked next Saturday and we go up as Champions!

N Thompson
- Pleased to have been a part
- Hopes one day to play for the Town with his brother

Caddis:
- Mood has changed since end of the game
- Disappointed with game (Was going to go straight down the tunnel)
- Has been a tough season
- Alot of pressure on the manager and the team because of the person that the manager is
- Turning point was game on Sky vs Rotherham
- Southend and Crawley games have also been important
- Will ask the gaffer if there are celebrations tonight
- Supporters have followed in their numbers despite long trips and economic situation. Appreciated by the players
- Wembley always will be a disappointment, but winning promotion helps

Not at all. Forgive me for not doing cart wheels at the moment. I hope to be doing that next week though when we have clinched the Championship.

Or maybe later on tonight after a few beers Pint Wink
