Bit of a shock - didn't realise he was that ill.
Loved the Discworld books when I first discovered them years ago and am reading the last one at present. Always liked the depth of them, funny fantasy stuff but with plenty of references and views on current society as well. One of the greatest British authors of all time and a sad loss.
Thought the tweets were a nice touch.

He did have Alzheimers.. Was very active within the "right to die" movement. Hope he found his peace.
