The Conference isn't an easy division to crack. Stockport have a decent catchment area, so they could benefit from that.

Didn't do Droylsden much good but they did manage to beat the Scum....as did Stockport twice last season.

I'm sure Stockport will benefit from a bit of lower league elitism. They'll attract better than the likes of Droylsden to begin with... budget pending.

Well they're gonna get a tidy sum from the sale of Pilkington to Norwich, dunno how much of that will be ploughed back into the squad though?
