224 p1ssed off Chelsea fans - BRILLIANT!  May be a bit harsh but ha ha ha.

See you just don't get that kind of problem supporting a league 1 club!

Yes let's all laugh at the fans that actually got to watch their team rather than sit down the pub in their replica shirts like they're the best fans in the world.

How many of those fans do you honestly think regularly go to Stamford Bridge?

No, let's all be holier than thou.

I couldn't give a shit whether they're "true" match attending fans or not.  God's obviously a lower club supporter, with a wicked sense of humour!!

It's fairly funny, most of the people in Manchester United shirts that the TV media have spoke to out in Moscow have either come from Wales or Ireland

Just because the plane's from Gatwick doesn't mean they're all Chelsea fans - lazy journalism possibly ?

Is this true though? The Sun tv guide from Saturday makes no mention of it  Shocked  Wink Know they are moving it to make room for a pointless England friendly soon though.

Anyway just use BBC i and download it,thats what i plan to do  Smiley Its a good service and what with the dodgy Freeview in Bassett its the only way i have of watching Madmen.

From what I've read Nev it seems the plane was a "special" laid on by 224 chelsea fans.  Which explains why, if it was a standard airline charter, why they couldn't just use another plane from their fleet.

More from Gatwick gate

Nick Morrow from Glasgow (Chelsea fan) "All hell broke loose for a short period of time but I have to say the police did a decent job of controlling it, they weren't aggressive, and by and large people behaved quite well. I've spent, well, the cost of the ticket, the charge for my ticket was £680. On top of that I had my match ticket, return flights from Scotland which have now cost me £200, a night at the Gatwick Hilton hotel which was £140, and I just feel at the moment like I don't even want to watch the game. I can't believe it's going to happen without me being there."
